Program overview according to our recommendation:
Day 1: Arrival – candlelight dinner
- Easy arrival by plane or train – to Munich, Zurich, Salzburg or Innsbruck. You will be picked up by your chauffeur/guide and taken to your booked 5* Hotel Schwarz on the Mieminger Plateau or the 5* Superior Tyrol Interalpen Hotel near Seefeld.
- Check in.
- Afterwards relaxation on all levels. The rest of the day is at leisure.
- Dinner at the hotel – 3-course menu (choose 1 starter, 1 main course and 1 dessert from the menu at will).
- Overnight stay.
Day 2: Via the Ötztal and Timmelsjoch to Italy and back via the Brenner Pass (approx. 250 km & 4 h travel time)
Our driver guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive with you via the Ötztal and the Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road to Vipiteno in South Tyrol. You can decide for yourself where you want to make a stopover. Some possibilities are:
- Stuibenfall: For nature lovers we recommend the largest waterfall in Tyrol at 159 m. In Umhausen in the Ötztal you can walk around 30 minutes along a forest path to the Stuibenfall.
- Ötzi Village (from May to October): Ever since it was discovered in 1991, “the Iceman” – Ötzi for short – has been considered the greatest archaeological attraction in the Alps and has provided sensational details of the everyday life of our ancestors. In the Ötzi Village you can immerse yourself in the everyday life of bygone days and learn interesting things about living and working in the Stone Age.
- Sölden: In Sölden you can shop, eat something comfortably or have a coffee.
Then it goes over the high alpine road Timmelsjoch over the Italian border to Vipiteno in South Tyrol. Here you can „stroll“ through the beautiful old town if you want and eat something if you are hungry. We will then drive you back to Austria to Innsbruck, our federal capital, via the Brenner Pass. On the way there you can take a little „shopping break“ at the Brenner outlet (shopping center). In Innsbruck there are many possibilities for you – we are happy to advise you – some recommendations from us:
- Old town with „golden roof“: Walk through the old town to the „golden roof“.
- Ambras Castle (closed in November): Ambras Castle is one of the most important sights in Innsbruck.
- Shopping & Strolling
- Seegrube & Hafelekar: Take the Nordkette cable car up to the Seegrube and the Hafelekar and enjoy the beautiful view of the Inn Valley and Innsbruck.
After Innsbruck, you return to your accommodation via Seefeld. In the Olympic region of Seefeld you can enjoy an evening walk before you can relax again at all levels in your hotel.
Day 3: Kaunergrat Nature Park – Café 3.440 – Tyrolean farm
Our driver guide will pick you up from your accommodation and drive you to the Kaunergrat Nature Park.
- If you like, you can walk through the Piller Moor and enjoy the beautiful nature.
- Afterwards you can visit the Kaunergrat Nature Park House. The nature park house houses the multimedia exhibition „3000m Vertical“, which allows visitors to experience the special features of the nature park up close.
- Before you continue, you can enjoy a „meal with a view“ in the Gachenblick restaurant or just have a drink – just as you like.
Then we drive with you to the end of the Pitztal. Here you take the Gletscherexpress through the mountain up to the Pitztal Glacier. From there, the Wildspitzbahn takes you up to Café 3.440 Pitztal – with a free-floating panorama terrace. Before you go to the cafe, you can climb the 55 steps up to the viewing platform, from where you will be amazed. On a clear day you can let your gaze wander over 150 kilometers. Peaks over 3,000 meters high are lined up – the 360-degree panoramic view is indescribable.
Finally, we drive with you to a typical Tyrolean farm. The farmer himself gives you a short tour of the farm and shows you his daily work and the products that are made from it – which you can also taste and buy. Then we drive you back to your accommodation.
Day 4: Drive to Switzerland to Zernez and via Mals in South Tyrol (Italy) back to Austria (approx. 290 km & 4h 30 min travel time)
Today you go from your hotel to Scuol and Zernez in the Swiss Engadin. On the way there (journey time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes) you can, if you wish, make a detour to Samnaun. In Samnaun you can shop duty-free (additional 40 min travel time). After that you can decide for yourself what you want to do – In Scoul:
- Water consultation hour: In the Scoul region there are around twenty highly mineral springs. Which of these is best for you will be found out exclusively in a personal water consultation using integrative kinesiology. (Upon request)
- Walk in nature.
In Zernez:
- Swiss National Park Center: Experience, experience and discover, marvel and question, help shape: In the 4 exhibition rooms of the National Park Center you can approach the topic of the National Park, its fauna and flora, its history, the inexhaustible diversity of nature in a completely new way. (Guided tour on request )
- Walk in nature.
We will then drive you via the Swiss National Park to Malles in South Tyrol (Italy). In Mals you have to try the regional South Tyrolean cuisine – we will be happy to advise you. Afterwards you can stroll through the old town.
The way back is via Lake Reschen, which is ideal for a short stopover and a photo. We continue across the Austrian border back to Tyrol, where we drive you back to your accommodation via the Kaunergrat Nature Park. For nature lovers, we recommend a relaxing walk through the Piller Moor.
Day 5: Free time to relax and unwind in your wellness hotel
- Optional: our chauffeur is available to you on request.
- Suggestion: You go on a guided e-bike pleasure tour or a guided hike.
- We are happy to help.
Day 6: Drive via the Silvretta High Alpine Road to Bregenz to Lake Constance and via Lech am Arlberg back to your accommodation (approx. 360 km & 5 h 10 min travel time)
Our driver guide will pick you up from your accommodation and drive you to the end of the Paznauntal on the Silvretta High Alpine Road. There you can stretch your legs and look at the Silvretta reservoir. Then it goes via Bludenz, Feldkirch and Dornbirn to Bregenz and Lake Constance. In Bregenz you can:
- Walk and „stroll“ along the lake promenade.
- Visit the Kunsthaus Bregenz: The Kunsthaus Bregenz shows international contemporary art in changing exhibitions.
- The Pfänder: With the Pfänderbahn up to the great vantage point over Bregenz with a unique panoramic view of Lake Constance and 240 Alpine peaks in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
Then it goes via Warth and the Lechtaler Straße to the tourist resort of Lech. Here you can:
- Visit the Kästle Mountain Museum: As the father of the famous Arlberg ski, Anton Kästle went down in the history of winter sports around 90 years ago. The numerous successes and innovations that followed can all be experienced again in the Kästle Mountain Museum.
- Visit the Huber-Hus Museum: The Lech Museum is a house of culture, history and language.
Our driver guide will then drive you back to your accommodation.
Day 7: Drive via the Haimingerberg and the Kühtai and Seefeld to Mittenwald and Garmisch in Germany (Zugspitze) and back via Seefeld (approx. 180 km & 3 h 30 min travel time)
Our driver guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you not far to the Cistercian Abbey in Stams, where you can visit the monastic community. (guided tour on request).
It continues via Haimingerberg to Kühtai. There you can stretch your legs and have a coffee.
Then it goes to Seefeld where you can go shopping or walking.
After Seefeld we take you to Scharnitz – in Scharnitz we recommend the Scharnitz Kneipp facility on a warm day to support the circulation, blood circulation and much more.
Then it goes to Mittenwald – In Mittenwald we recommend:
- a stroll through the old town
- or music lovers the visit of the violin tree museum. The museum shows the craft of violin making and its more than 300-year development.
Next it goes via Garmisch-Partenkirchen and to the Zugspitze. Here you can:
- Depending on the weather, a trip to the Zugspitze is definitely worth it (alternatively, the Wankbahn in Garmisch).
- Visit the exhibition at the Richard Strass Institute in Garmisch. Richard Strauss was not only a composer and conductor, but also a cultural politician, educated citizen, family man and much more. Discover Richard Strauss in all his facets in this exhibition!
Return to your hotel via Leutasch and Seefeld. If you like, you can still enjoy an evening walk in Seefeld.
Day 8: Drive to the airport / train station
- Your chauffeur / driver guide will take you to the platform or airport in good time.
